From PIPA News: Marismas Masters OLR - Activation race

Today the Marismas Masters, an oneloft race in Seville, Spain, got underway. The 75km activation race was unloaded this afternoon and ran smoothly. One is set for 10 races in a row with the 500km final on March 29 as the apotheosis.

Due to low-hanging clouds and fog in the morning, it was decided to wait for the clearances and release the 1,188 pigeons basketed at 12h with slightly cloudy skies and 15°C. It proved to be the right choice. The flight ran smoothly with German Jurgen Altmiks winning, followed by the Polish tandem Kotek- Pawlicki. The bronze was also for a German fancier: Otto Körner. 2 Belgian teams: Team Troostprijsspelers and AIDI - Team Noël-Willockx completed the top five.
